1. Private Media Storage & Short-Lived Access Links

Source videos, intermediate artifacts, and final exported clips are stored in private storage buckets (`originals/`, `intermediates/`, and `exports/` prefixes in Amazon S3 us-east-1 or the local storage directory in `APP_MODE=local`). Media assets are never exposed through permanently public URLs; downloads use short-lived authorized tokens.

2. AI Processing Transparency

When automatic highlight detection or speech transcription is enabled, audio tracks and transcript segments are processed through the configured service interface (such as Amazon Transcribe and Amazon Bedrock in production, or the deterministic local simulator in `APP_MODE=local`). Customer recordings are not used to train public foundation models.

3. Asset Lifecycle & Account Deletion

You can delete individual clips, exports, or entire projects at any time from your workspace, which removes the corresponding storage objects and database records. You may also configure your preferred retention window or permanently delete your account from Account Settings.
